ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ 20 ਤੋਂ 23 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਰੀ ਪਧਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪੰਥਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਛਪਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ 'ਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਬੀਸੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ 'ਚ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦਕਿ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਫੇਰੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਖਾਸਮ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ 'ਚ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਵੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

Akal Takht Jathedar, Giani Harpreet Singh, is visiting us here in Surrey from June 20 to 23.

As he represents such an important position in our community and in order to properly give respect to the position, everyone is saying we should give him a warm welcome upon his arrival. This includes a good party to pick him up from the airport.

It was originally thought that we would take him to multiple Gurdwaras in order for him to meet the Sangat and community leaders. However, after the recommendation of some Gurdwara Sevadars, it is thought that going to visit Gurdwaras is not advisable because even one disruptive person can ruin the program.

He is here for two full days. June 21 and June 22.

The program for June 21 is to show him all the Khalsa Schools and to also have lunch at one of the schools.

The program for June 22 is to have a main function from 5-7pm in the Khalsa Secondary School auditorium with invited guests only and at 7pm there would be a formal dinner in the Khalsa Secondary School gym. It also decided that we would provide him some gift as well for his visit.
